It Does Matter

It is imperative that you exercise caution when sharing your faults and problems with others. This is because some people, despite holding a position of authority, having impressive credentials, or being close friends, may judge or condemn you instead of providing the necessary support. It is unfortunate that some individuals lack the emotional maturity to understand that everyone makes mistakes and falls short of God’s glory. Others may lack the compassion or desire to help you learn from your experiences without being judgmental.

Fortunately, God promises to restore those who repent and turn back to Him, regardless of how severe their past mistakes may be. As mere humans, who are we to think that we can go against God’s word and do otherwise?

We should never think too highly of ourselves, nor should we criticize others. Instead, we must strive to be the individuals God intended us to be and follow Christ’s example, obedient to His teachings. Doing so allows us to learn from our mistakes, grow as individuals, and ultimately become better versions of ourselves.
